Mara game drives, then seven days of sand
The classic combination: wildlife first, beach second. Three nights in the Maasai Mara cover the big cats and, in season, the migration. You then fly Mara to Diani via Nairobi, swapping the savannah for the Indian Ocean.
Diani gives you a coral reef for snorkelling, dhow trips to Wasini, and enough quiet beach to do nothing at all. Half board at a beachfront property leaves your evenings free.
This itinerary suits honeymooners and anyone who wants one trip to cover both sides of Kenya.
Morning flight from Nairobi Wilson to the Mara airstrip, met by your guide. Transfer to camp, lunch, then an afternoon game drive.
Full day game viewing with a picnic lunch in the reserve. Optional dawn balloon safari.
A second full day in the reserve, with time to travel further into the conservancies or track the migration herds depending on season.
